Karvin Adams

Karvin Adams was reared in a pastor's home and converted at the age of 8. He received a call to ministry while in his teens. He is a graduate of Gulf-Coast Bible College (now Mid-America Christian University). Since 1981 he and his wife Sandy have served as pastors and as missionaries to Ecuador. They were the first North American missionaries sent by their church to Ecuador. In January 1997, they founded Partners in Missions, Inc., which works with the Indigenous Peoples and Mestizo of the Americas, focusing on leadership development (www.partners-in-missions.org). They continue to work with that organization in Central and South America. Karvin and Sandy have a son in full-time ministry, a daughter and seven grandchildren.

Darrell Brock

Darrell has spent the last three years as managing partner of The Cumberland Group which is a full service government relations firm specializing in energy related issues and policy. The Cumberland Group has offices in Kentucky, Alabama and Washington, DC. Darrell has an experienced mix of business and politics having served as President and CEO of a green energy company, Chairman of Kentucky’s Republican Party, and Commissioner of the Kentucky Governor’s office where he advised the Governor on public policy issues. Darrell also spent several years as a senior executive with Toyota’s automotive group companies responsible for sales, marketing and business development globally.

Darrell has a unique understanding of the complex environmental laws and regulations—and their governing agencies such as the EPA, Corp of Engineers and the Department of Energy. He has a comprehensive knowledge of the energy sector and has worked extensively within the industry and Congress to impact national policy and create new leading edge technology.

Darrell understands business development first hand having traveled the world extensively advising companies on business start-up operations, strategic planning, development of minority business, and global expansion. He has also been responsible for Government Relations efforts in North & South America as well as Europe. Darrell has served on numerous boards including: Renaissance Kentucky, Kentucky Housing Corporation, Kentucky Infrastructure Authority and Connect Kentucky, a nation-wide broadband initiative. Darrell also served as Kentucky’s representative on the federally funded Delta Regional Authority and Appalachian Regional Commission where he worked closely with Governor’s and their staff throughout the Country. Darrell is a member of Leadership Kentucky, has served on the board of a multi-state bank and is a consultant with Guidepoint Global Advisors, a large international consulting firm based in New York City.

Darrell also actively serves on the board of directors of Prince of Peace Home for Girls (www.princeofpeacegt.com)—an orphanage located in San Cristobal, Guatemala. He travels frequently to Guatemala leading teams to visit the Home, providing opportunities for sponsorships and long-term growth.

Mike Eckler

Mike Eckler, has been passionately involved with Prince of Peace Home for Girls since 2008 and serves as Vice Chair of the Ky Board of Directors. Living in Richmond, KY with his wife of Sherri and daughter Kristen. He and Sherri own Richmond Car & Truck Center a non-franchised auto dealership. Mike works passionately helping to build awareness, raise funds and share in the work at POP.

Leigh Fisher

Leigh Fisher has been in ministry for over 12 years. She started her career as a staff member of Camp Sonshine based in Silver Spring, Maryland. She served as an Assistant Director for 2 years and Director for 5 years. She was responsible to plan the program, activities, support parent concerns, purchasing of supplies, leading staff and a variety of other responsibilities to provide a children's program which was safe and fun. One of Leigh's greatest accomplishments while serving at Camp Sonshine, was leading the first Camp Sonshine team to Guatemala in 2000. This has and continues to be an amazing blessing to the team members who visit the Home and the wonderful girls at Prince of Peace.

In 2006, Leigh spent 2 months living at Prince of Peace serving alongside Paul and Lana Sanders. This short amount of time, spent in Guatemala continues to prove to be a life changing endeavor. Shortly after returning to the United States, Leigh began working with Samaritan's Purse. She is currently the Mid-Atlantic Regional Director for Operation Christmas Child and is based near Columbia, Maryland. She is extremely grateful for the hard working staff and outstanding volunteers that she serves alongside. Together the Mid-Atlantic team is responsible to recruit, select train and lead over 800 year-round volunteers through their 5 State region. In 2010, the Mid-Atlantic team was responsible for over 640,000 shoe box gifts prepared to share the Gospel with kids worldwide.

Leigh is thrilled and honored to serve on the Board of Prince of Peace Home for girls. She joined the Board in 2009. Leigh is also part of the worship team at her home church McLean Bible of Bethesda, MD.

Dr. Virgil Grant

Virgil began full-time ministry in 1990 and became senior pastor of Eastside Community Church, Richmond, Kentucky. He has been involved with Next Level Leadership Network for the past six years providing leadership development and training for the SBC. He also serves as adjunct professor at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Virgil graduated from Cumberland College in Williamsburg, Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1990, a Master of Divinity from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky in 1996, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Columbia International Seminary in Columbia, South Carolina in 2003. He is married to Rosemary, and has two children, Rachel (17) and Jacob (21).

Christopher L. Hager

Christopher gave his life to Christ at the age of 6. He is a 1988 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. He has been involved in leading missions teams to Prince of Peace annually since 2006. With his wife, Gracie, he has one daughter Carlie. They are business owners and entrepreneurs located in Richmond, KY.

John MacDonald

John MacDonald is married to his High School Sweetheart, Janet. God has blessed them with 3 children, Lea, Mia and Matt. John serves on the Mission Committee for the Mt. Sterling First Church of God and has been to Guatemala 3 times. His family has a heart for missions and for Guatemala. The first trip to Prince of Peace opened his eyes to the world around him and made missions a priority in his life. John and Janet own and operate Montgomery Veterinary Clinic in Mt. Sterling, KY.

Kevin Miniard

Kevin Miniard is currently Senior Vice President of Global Operations for Smith and Nephew Medical. Kevin has 20+ years of Operations Leadership Experience with companies such as Toyota, Daimler Chrysler & 1st Atlantic Private Equity specializing in Lean and company restructuring. Kevin holds a BS Degree of Industrial Sciences from Eastern Kentucky University. He has been actively supporting Prince of Peace since his first trip in February 2010.

Bill Rudloff

In 2003, Bill learned of Prince of Peace through his time on staff as Associate Pastor at Hope Community Church, Oviedo, Florida, where he served alongside Matt Sanders and Fontaine Greene. June of 2003 was his first trip and he fell in love with the girls and Guatemala and experienced God's hand on the ministry there. In 2004, he was asked to serve as a board member of the General Assembly and gladly accepted. Since then, he has been involved in helping to shape the programs of the home including raising funds, education, spiritual and physical growth including bringing teams to help on the grounds of the campus. He was also in charge of sending several containers of goods and building materials to the home earlier on.

He continues to be dedicated to serve Prince of Peace in any way that God leads and is so grateful and happy to do so. His wife Beth, daughter Katie (21) and son Evan (16) have served beside him many times over these years. It all started with a trip, sponsorship (Carol and Jasmin!), prayer, and the willingness to help fulfill God's desires for these wonderful girls of Guatemala. Through that, he have been truly blessed far beyond my expectations.

Gregory J. Snyder

Gregory (Greg) Snyder is Vice President and Region Executive for the Central Region of Siemens Energy. He currently oversees sales for both the new unit and service product lines.

The Siemens Energy portfolio includes utility, IPP, industrial and renewable energy generation, environmental controls, I&C, transformers and other transmission and distribution high voltage products. He has also been active in the selection of U.S. manufacturing sites for Siemens Wind Energy.

Mr. Snyder started his career in 1977 with Westinghouse Electric Corp. and has held a variety of sales, marketing, and project financing management positions with both Siemens-Westinghouse and Siemens Energy.

Mr. Snyder's educational background includes a bachelors degree in environmental engineering and economics (double major) from Yale University.

Greg and his wife, Pam, currently reside in Orlando, Florida with their one teenage daughter and all three are active in a variety of local and regional charity organizations including, 2nd Harvest Food Bank, International Justice Mission (IJM), Friends Academy, and Prince of Peace home for girls in Guatemala.
