School's In Session!

Posted by Prince of Peace

It's been about a week since all the girls have been back at school. The girls start their day as early as 4:45 A.M, when the Tia's yell, "TIEMPO!" The girls hurry and take showers and get dressed for their busy days. The 22 girls attending Puerta de Esperanza are wearing new uniforms, and although they still need some time to adapt to wearing them, the girls look like cute little school girls in their skirts and polos. The school year kicked off here at the home with a special devotional time with praise and worship and someone sharing from the word to encouraging the girls for this year. We have also have a lot more girls going off campus for schools. Seniors at Ceis studying Secretariado Bilingue are Odilia and Joselin. Senior at America Latina, studying accounting is Lisdenia. By the end of this school year, Odilia, Joselin, and Lisdenia should graduate! Other girls attending America Latina Monday through Friday are Yaneth, Eloisa, Marielos, Deisy, Yojana, Silvia, and Reyna Emilia. There are 6 girls that are attending America Latina only on saturdays and they are Flor, Lucia, Lucerito, Alejandra, Ana, and Adela. Colegio Brooklyn is a new school that some of our girls are attending, and they are Anay, Rosita, Estefany, Elizabeth, Jackie, Lizet, Marjorie, and Jasmin. There are also four girls that are currently working and going to the university and they Carol, Catty, Mayra, and Maricruz. Please keep all of our girls in prayer during this year for their future. We want them all to do well in school and succeed in everything they put their hands to!
