Dear Prince of Peace family and friends

As many of you may know Dr Jim and Kay Hines, the beloved Directors of Prince of Peace, have recently faced one of the most difficult challenges for any parent with the sickness of their son David. In this difficult time we ask you to pray for their family and the return to health for David. As a board / family we also believe that it is our responsibility to do everything possible to support Dr. Jim & Kay and the home during this difficult time. To allow them to devote 100% of their time to supporting their son without the challenges of the day to day task of directing the home, Dr. Jim and Kay have been granted a two month leave of absence from Prince of Peace. We realize this leaves a large void in support of the home and staff so we have appointed one of our board members, Kevin Miniard, to act as primary contact for the home. With continued leadership from the very capable staff and support from the other board members, we do not expect these actions will cause any disruptions for visiting team schedules or activities. We look forward to your continued support and love for the girls at Prince of Peace and ask for your continued prayers for Hines family.
